REES 2022

AREMA’s Education and Training Committee developed the Railway Engineering Education Symposium (REES). REES is intended to foster interest among university faculty in railway engineering with the goal of encouraging and supporting their interest in adding railway engineering content to their current engineering courses and curricula. The inaugural REES was held in June 2008, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Urbana, Illinois.

Your Contribution Makes a Difference

“AREMA Educational Foundation Scholarships have been instrumental in me being able to attend school. Not only have they helped me financially, but also have given me the confidence this is the right field for me. I feel so grateful for this award and cannot wait to be able to return the opportunity to future students! Thank you to all donors for your support in helping me and other students continue our education and gain experience in the rail industry.”
